Vic Selective by Learning Design Co. is run by Xinyan (Cindy) Huang, trading as Learning Design Co. (ABN 66 392 043 707), Melbourne, Victoria. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it. Contact: hello@learningdesignco.com.au.

What we collect

• When you pay: your name, email address and payment details. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
• Your access code: we store each access code with a note of the purchasing parent's name and email, and the dates it was used.
• Device IDs: the first time a code is used on a device, the device saves a random ID, and we store that ID against the code. It doesn't identify you or your child and holds no personal information. It lets us apply the 2-device limit.
• Emails you send us: for example, support requests, essay reviews or session bookings.

What we don't collect

• There are no student accounts. We don't ask for your child's name, school, age or any other details.
• Answers, results, skill maps and writing stay in your browser during each session and are not sent to us or stored by us. The free diagnostic works the same way.
• Writing is self-marked and never sent to AI.

What your browser stores

Your device keeps your access code and its random device ID so you don't need to enter the code again. You can remove these by clearing your browser's site data.

Who else handles your information

• Stripe processes payments.
• Cloudflare hosts the website and stores access codes.
• Google Fonts supplies the website's fonts, and cdnjs supplies the PDF tool on the free diagnostic. Your browser contacts these services directly, which shares your IP address with them.
• Some of these providers store data outside Australia, including in the United States.
• We don't sell or share your information for marketing.

How long we keep it

• Access codes and device IDs are kept until access ends on the official 2027 exam day, then deleted within 12 months.
• Payment records are kept for as long as Australian tax law requires.

Your choices

You can ask to see or correct the information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@learningdesignco.com.au. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please contact us first. You can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
